About the Speaker
Dr Marina de Barros Pinheiro is a NHMRC Early Career Fellow / Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health, Sydney Local Health District and The University of Sydney. Dr Pinheiro’s research focuses on cost-effectiveness of physical activity interventions and implementation of physical activity interventions for older people. She has unique multidisciplinary expertise in physical activity for older people, implementation science and health economics. Dr Pinheiro has conducted well-received reviews on economic evaluation for WHO and is currently in the WHO roster of physical activity consultants.
