Matching and Advisory Program for Implementation Science (MAPS)
The Matching and Advisory Program for Implementation Science (MAPS) has been established to support the development of health professionals and researchers undertaking implementation projects.
The MAPS program has been designed to encourage the implementation and translation of research into practice.
The program aims to:
- Facilitate researchers and health professionals expanding their knowledge in implementation science
- Translate innovative ideas into practice to drive positive changes in patient care
- Increase capacity and capability development in implementation science
- Enhance networks and partnerships between health professionals and researchers.
MAPS is open to health professionals (allied health, medical, midwifery, nursing) and researchers from Sydney Health Partners Affiliated Health Services, Medical Research Institutes, and the University of Sydney. The SHP Implementation Science Academy leadership team will endeavour to make appropriate advisor matches, depending on availability. Applicants will be matched with their advisor for a 12-month period, based on their identified implementation development goals.
