The SHP Implementation Science Academy has a distinctive focus on advancing the science and practice of medical research implementation in health service settings.

Through our growing program of work, we aim to foster methodological approaches to implementing evidence into practice amongst a generation of clinicians and researchers.
By doing so we aim to impact on clinical and patient outcomes, as well as organisational reform and change.

The establishment of the Implementation Science Academy enables Sydney Health Partners to build on the foundations of the past five years and consolidate its leading position amongst Australia’s national network of NHMRC-accredited Research Translation Centres in implementation science.

Our Academy provides a unique opportunity to work closely with health service partners to build capacity and capability in the workforce and to demonstrate that evidence-based interventions can be successfully implemented and scaled-up in large and diverse health systems.
