Our health system needs more clinician-researchers and research translators with the knowledge, skills, and experience to sustainably implement evidence-based interventions within complex health settings.

Collaborations of clinicians and researchers, called Clinical Academic Groups (CAGs), have been established by Sydney Health Partners to provide the clinically focused structure required to achieve its vision and mission.

The Implementation Science Academy works closely with the CAGs to help them link promising ideas to clinical priorities, upskill the next generation of clinical researchers, and apply research translation methods to the projects so they improve patient outcomes.
